Nathan J Wasserbauer

Nathan J Wasserbauer received his MFA from the University of Pennsylvania and his BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art. He has worked on numerous solo and collaborative projects within the U.S. as well as internationally in Canada, Italy, Ireland and The Netherlands. His work is included in the Ward Collection, Albuquerque New Mexico, the Giufrida Collection, West Palm Beach Florida, and the Pels Collection, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In addition, Wasserbauer has completed many private commissions including a marble sculpture for the Pontifical North American College in the Vatican, and a cycle of frescoes for the church of Santa Barbara in Gallena, Italy.
Nathan’s painting, media and sound work use abstract imagery and ideas to portray symbiotic harmony and exploitative decadence in contemporary culture. Currently assisting in the production of the work of Jeff Koons, Wasserbauer maintains his own independent studio practice in NYC and Brooklyn where he lives and works respectively.
